Explain how you used the principles of design in your digital poster. Use specific "descriptive" words in your explanation.
White Space: My poster has some white spaces that are focused mostly in the center. Some are around the logo. I wanted to make my poster look equal and match with the center in which I chose pictures with a few white spots in it.
Focal Point: The word "Vanilla Hills" and its logo are my focal points. They are large enough to be catchy and easy to grab people's attention really fast.
Fantastic Fonts: I chose "VNI-Matisse" as a font for "Vanilla Hills" because somehow it matches with the words and also the readers' imagination of the park as well. For most of the text, I used "Rockwell" because it looks formal but simple. I also used a few different fonts for other text, too.
Display Balance: I put details, pictures in the middle, then more pictures and information on both sides. I also tried to "cut" my poster in half and it is totally balance.
Simple is nice: I put a fair amount of text in which it provides clear information. I did not choose beautiful or colorful pictures which would mess up my poster and/or make it look less professional.
Color Correctly: I only used green and gray for the name of the park which is Vanilla Hills. Orange and red are the main colors I used for details and discounted information. They can remind people of Christmas because this poster is partly for special occasions. Blue remains as a small part of the pictures. I tried not to use as many colors because it would look really confusing, I think I did a pretty good job on this.

My Holiday (:
This break seemed pretty fun although I didn't get to travel to other countries. I had to stay home all break long because my parents were both busy with their works and all. At first I was sad to hear we wouldn't go anywhere but then I overcame the problem by going to my cousins' house and hanging with them. Also, I had a sleepover with my friend and we had fun. The most interesting thing to me is I celebrated Christmas Eve on Facebook. I went to most of my close friends' walls and left them a post with wishes. I was very thankful for doing that! It was great and I got cracked up all the time by one of my close friends. On New Year's Eve, I chatted with an old guy friend of mine in America and we talked about things that had been going on. I was looking forward to a happy new year and by celebrating it, I counted down with my friend on the phone. I also came to my parents after that and gave them a big hug. Afterall, my holiday was amazingly great! (:
